Diploma Program

For a South Carolina High School Diploma, students are required to pass 24 units of coursework that meets graduation requirements.  It is highly recommended that students attend an onsite and/or computer lab class or complete the online courses where they have a personal computer and internet access.  There is a minimum of 60 hours of online coursework or classroom attendance per unit and 30 hours per half unit; however, most courses take longer.  It is recommended that students plan to spend at least 10 hours per week on their classwork.

Diploma Class

When students are enrolled in the BCSD Adult Education diploma program and enroll in E2020 courses, they are required to complete their courses within 60 days. If students do not complete their course within 60 days, they will be placed on a 20 day probation period in which they will not have access to their courses. Once the probation period has ended, they will again have access to their courses. Adult Education will then extend the completion period for another 20 days.  If the student does not complete the course with the next 20 days, the student will be suspended from E2020 until the following school year.

Beginning January 7, 2019 there will be a $25.00 application fee for new diploma students. Please, click here to go to the online pay portal.
